OurProctor™ exists because a gap in online assessment integrity was identified firsthand — and the technical background to address it at the hardware level was already there.
OurProctor™ was created by a former long-term online student who experienced the limitations of existing proctoring systems directly. The question was simple: once the exam starts, how does anyone know the student stays on the authorized display? Existing tools verify identity at login. None continuously verify that the authorized hardware conditions persist throughout the exam. That gap — and the technical means to close it — is what OurProctor™ was built to address.
“The question was simple: once the exam starts, how does anyone know the student stays on the authorized display?”
Deep experience in original equipment manufacturer technical systems, diagnostics, and hardware-level analysis.
Background in manufacturing processes and failure analysis informs a rigorous, evidence-based approach to hardware verification.
Verification at the hardware layer — below the application level — is more reliable and harder to circumvent than application-layer checks alone.
“OurProctor's™ mission is to strengthen confidence in online assessments through continuous hardware verification — complementing existing proctoring platforms rather than replacing them.”
OurProctor™ is in development. We are transparent about what the platform does today and what it is designed to do.
We are not a standalone proctoring solution. We add a hardware verification layer to the tools institutions already use.
How institutions respond to detected deviations is their decision. OurProctor™ provides the verification layer; policy stays with the institution.
We are currently inviting pilot partners. Connect with our team to discuss whether OurProctor™ is a fit for your institution.
